News year 2014-15

In academic year 2014-15, the new curriculum of the Master is effective. This flyer includes basic information about the new study plan. Registration is open from September 8 to September 22, 2014, and the classes will begin October 14, 2014.


The program in "Biomedical Engineering" is proposed as an interdisciplinary Master level formation. For that, the University of Zaragoza has joined the potentials in the field; in particular, the expertise inside the Aragon Institute of Engineering Research (I3A) and the Aragon Nano-science Institute (INA). As a continuation of this Master, there is a Ph.D. Program in "Biomedical Engineering".


The contents addressed in this program range from Electronics, system modelling, Informatics, Medical Images, Biomaterials, Biomechanics, Rehabilitation, Signal processing, statistics, radiations, robotics, Nano-medicine, drug delivery, etc.


The duration of the course is 75 ECTS, equivalent to a regular teaching course (60 ECTS) plus 15 ECTS of the Master's Thesis. Students who come from a Degree in Biomedical Engineering may apply for recognition of 12 ECTS of Biomedical Education.
